Steps to Clean Your Lamp

1. Always Unplug Before Cleaning

Safety first! Before cleaning, make sure to unplug the lamp or switch off the power to prevent electric shock or accidents.

2. Remove Detachable Parts

Some lamps have detachable components, such as shades or covers. Remove them carefully and refer to the user manual if necessary.

3. Clean the Lamp Shade or Cover

  • Glass or Plastic Shades: Use mild soapy water and a soft cloth to wipe gently. Rinse with clean water and let it air dry completely.

  • Fabric Shades: Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment or a dry cloth to remove dust gently without damaging the fabric.

4. Wipe the Bulb

Use a dry, soft cloth to remove dust from the bulb. Avoid using water or damp cloths as moisture can damage the bulb or electrical parts.

5. Reassemble and Test

Once everything is completely dry, reassemble the lamp and plug it back in. Test it to ensure it works properly.

Additional Tips

  • Clean your lamps every 2–3 months to maintain brightness and appearance.

  • Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the lamp’s surface or coating.

  • Use a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches while cleaning.
